PURPOSE:To prevent direct flow of exhaust at an installation support part so as not to cause heating and improve durability of a rubber bush and the like by providing, in the vicinity of a bent part of a muffler device, a built-in heater guard plate of the installation support part. CONSTITUTION:An insulation support part 50 to the car body side is formed on the upper periphery of the downstream foward a bent part 11 of a muffler device 10. A heat guard plate 60 of the installation support part 50 is provided inwardly from said support part 50, and adjacently to the bent part 11, that is, within the second expansion chamber S2. Said plate 60, consisting of a flat plate part 61 and a bent part with arc-shaped section, is provided through fixation by means of spot welding at three points on the frontal face of a separator 31, and the rear end opening part 21a of an inner pipe 21 of the first step and the installation support part 50 are shielded from each other by means of the flat plate part 61. |
