PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the heat resisting property and at the same time to facilitate the manufacture of a gas turbine combustor by a structure wherein the cross-sectional figure of the inner wall of an inner pipe and that of the turbine inlet of an tail pipe are made in polygons with the same even number of sides so as to connect both the pipes with each other by plane surfaces in the gas turbine combustor. CONSTITUTION:The cross-sectional figure of the inner wall of the inner pipe 1 is made in a regular polygon with even number of sides, for example, in a regular octagon in order to constitute the inner wall surfaces in a form aggregated with planes. On the other hand, the cross-sectional figure of the turbine inlet 6 of the tail pipe 2 is made in an elongated octagon. The connecting part of both the pipes 1 and 2 are connected by eight trapezoidal planes so as to constitute the tail pipe 2 in a form aggregated with said planes. Due to the structure as described above, both the inner pipe 1 and the tail pipe 2 are constituted of planes only, resulting in enabling to coat by flat plate ceramic blocks. Consequently, the easy manufacture of the combustor for high temperature and heavy load application can be realized. |
