PURPOSE:To ensure good accelerating operation and good high loaded operation, by providing a bypass passage connecting a fuel passage in the upstream of a metering jet and a fuel passage in the downstream of the metering jet. CONSTITUTION:A bypass passage 30 of squared shape with one end open detouring a metering jet 26 is formed in a carburetor housing 2. A fuel flow inlet 31 of this bypass passage 30 is opened to the inside of a fuel passage 25 in the upstream of the metering jet 26 while a fuel flow outlet 32 of said passage 30 is opened to the inside of the fuel passage 25 in the downstream of the metering jet 26. A metering jet 33 for metering fuel flowing in the bypass passage 30 is inserted into the bypass passage 30 in the vicinity of the fuel flow inlet 31. One side of the bypass passage 30 is connected through the first air bleed passage 35 to the inside of an intake passage 7, and the other is connected through the second air bleed passage 36 to a solenoid valve 50. |
