The sorting and cutting machine for grafting material, used in agriculture and especially in wine-growing, has a plate-link conveyor with grippers, each of which possesses a movable jaw and an immovable jaw, the beds of which are equipped with walls for surrounding the bundles. The plate-link conveyor has three branches. A lever with a control cog is articulated elastically on the movable jaw. A vertical cam for opening the movable jaw is provided in the region of the vertical branch. Horizontal cams of the calibrating device are arranged in series behind one another parallel to the horizontal branch. The plate-link conveyor has an extended driven shaft with a carrier coupled to it. The machine guarantees a high-quality cutting off and reliable sorting of the bundles with increased accuracy. <IMAGE>
