A disc-shaped brush body made of plastic for the rotary-driven cleaning brush of a floor-cleaning machine is specified, in which brush body rubber-elastic anchoring bodies can be tightly inserted in a releasable manner, with which anchoring pins can, in turn, be brought into engagement, said anchoring pins projecting at a right angle from a drive disc and effecting the drive coupling of the brush body with said drive disc. The receiving hollows in the brush body, provided to receive the anchoring bodies, are constructed as essentially circular-cylindrical cutouts which are provided at their upper edge with radial support flange elements and in a lower portion with catch projections, between which the anchoring bodies which can be inserted in the brush body from below with elastic deformation are retained sufficiently securely. The supporting flange elements on the upper side and the catch projections which have a run-up surface rising from the bottom to the top are arranged with spacing seen in the circumferential direction. The brush body is constructed as an integral plastic part which is preferably made as a foamed injection-moulded part of polypropylene.
