摘要 A device for measuring the shape of a liquid jet coming from a nozzle consists essentially of a sighting ring (10) having a copper ring (16) which is constructed as an electrode and is connected to an electronic charge amplifier (29), an evaluation logic unit (31) and a display device (32). The liquid jet (26) flowing through the nozzle (24) is charged statically while flowing through the nozzle and passes through an opening (25) in the sighting ring. If the jet has a jet defect impinging on the copper ring (16), said defect transfers its charge contained in the nozzle (24) to the copper ring. The charge is relayed from the copper ring (16) to an electronic charge amplifier (29) which transmits a voltage signal to an evaluation logic unit (31) having a downstream "good/bad" display (32). This yields an objective measurement of the shape of the jet which detects and represents impermissible departures in the direction of the core jet or of a partial jet. <IMAGE>
