In a process for producing moulded parts with curved sections, a mandrel consisting of a shape-memory alloy is curved to the desired shape, heated to memorise the curved shape and subsequently extended to a straight shape, to be then coated with a moulding composition. Then the mandrel coated with the moulding composition is heated so that it reassumes its original memorised shape. The part obtained thereby is subsequently cooled and the mandrel is pulled out, so that the moulded part having the desired shape is obtained. This process is not only very economical, but also ensures a high product quality.
