PURPOSE:To carry out the transfer of a display layer only with respect to a desired region by relatively high pressing force, by a method wherein a hot stamp foil having a specific adhesive layer is superimposed on an object to be transferred having a thin ink layer formed to the desired region thereof to be pressed under heating. CONSTITUTION:A hot stamp foil A having an adhesive layer with no heat adhesiveness with respect to an object B to be transferred is unwound from a drum 8 to be supplied onto the object B to be transferred. An ink thin film good in compatibility with the adhesive layer is formed to the desired region on the surface of the object B to be transferred and the hot roll 5 of a roll type hot press machine is pushed downwardly by a press means to press the hot stamp foil A superimposed on the object B to be transferred under heating. |
