A baking oven for hot air circulation includes a radial fan and a heating device with air inlet and air outlet ducts to the baking chamber. Both ducts are arranged close to each other on the same wall as the fan and the heating device. An axial fan circulates the air from the baking chamber through the inlet duct and a short channel into a heating device and through an outlet duct into the oven. The inlet and outlet slots in the side wall are distributed over the oven height. This requires no long air circulation ducts. The mfg. costs of the new design are markedly lower than those of conventional designs but the baking results are equally as good as those of much more expensive designs. |
