PURPOSE:To execute active intervention with top priority by giving an interruption control means processing a closed software interruption instruction to a user inherent to an emulator involved in the active intervening action applied from the emulator in accordance with an active request signal. CONSTITUTION:An active sequence control circuit 34 transmits a vector signal VEC applied from an address decoder as an active control signal ACT, and simultaneously transmits an active request signal AR applied from the control part of the emulator as an instruction switching signal ICE. In a buffer 35, its data transmission direction is controlled by the active control signal ACT applied from the active sequence control circuit 34. In a buffer 37, its transmission action is controlled by the instruction switching signal ICE applied from the active sequence control circuit 34. A target microprocessor 11 is equipped with the interruption control circuit ICC which identifies an SWI inherent to the emulator applied from an SWI generator circuit 36, and generates the prescribed vector signal.
