PURPOSE:To obtain a cap comprising a lid body with a liner of a soft elastomer heat bonded to the lid body, by feeding a special ethylene copolymer in the molten state to a top plate part of a lid body of a hard resin, and stamping the ethylene copolymer by a plunger. CONSTITUTION:The lid body 1 of a high density polyethylene or a crystalline polypropylene resin is previously heated to 50 deg.C or above, and an ethylene copolymer that contains as a main constituent ethylene and propylene or a carbonyl group-containing ethylene unsaturated monomer and has a Shore hardness A of 90 deg. or below at 30 deg.C is fed in the melted state to the top plate part of the lid body 1, and the melt is stamped by the plunger to be formed into a liner having a prescribed shape and also to be heat bonded to the lid body. |
