PURPOSE:To enhance the responding characteristic of an electromechanical transducer by laminating and coupling a main bimorph piezoelectric element obtained by laminating and coupling a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic elements and an auxiliary bimorph piezoelectric element formed by laminating and coupling a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic elements of intrinsic vibration higher than that of the main element through an impact absorber, thereby removing an unnecessary vibration. CONSTITUTION:On end side of a main bimorph piezoelectric element 11 is supported onto the clamping jig 12 of L-shaped section. The element 11 has a laminated of a PZT type piezoelectric ceramic element 14 which has electrodes 131, 132 on both surfaces, and a PZT type piezoelectric ceramic element 16 which has electrodes 151, 152 similarly on both main surfaces, and the polarizing directions of the elements 14, 16 are aligned and coupled in parallel with one another. The elements 14, 16 are formed in the same width and thickness, but the length of the element 16 is slightly longer than that of the element 14. Then, an auxiliary bimorph piezoelectric element 17 which has intrinsic vibration larger than that of and the length shorter than the length of the element 11 is connected to the lower surface of the element 11 through a vulcanized rubber 18 of impact absorber, and the polarizing directions are aligned in the elements 20, 22. |
