PURPOSE:In a polishing machine for spoon, to polish the work uniformly by making the number of teeth of a planetary gear to be coupled with a spindle for fixing the work larger than the fixed gear while making the spinning speed slower than the revolution speed. CONSTITUTION:Polishing agent composed of wood medium, fat and grinding particles is thrown into a polish tank 1 then the tank 1 is lifted and mixing is performed through rotation of a pulley 6 by means of the epindles 13, 13' thereafter the tank 1 is lowered. The works 15, 15' such as spoons are fixed to the zigs 14, 14' of the spindles 13, 13' then the pulley 6 is rotated to spin and revolve the spindles 13, 13' through the fixed gear 19 and the planetary gears 21, 21' to perform polishing. Here the number of teeth of the planetary gear is made larger than the fixed gear to make the revolution speed higher than the spinning speed thus to make the rotary speed of work against the center of gearbox 4 higher than that against the axis of spindle. Consequently even for a work having relatively deep concave face, it will cause no missing of polish. |
