PURPOSE:To provide the titled pressure sensitive copy paper excellent in transferability and color developability, obtained by a method wherein an electron donor type colorless color former, an electron acceptor type colorless color developer generating a color product through the reaction with said color former, waxes and polyvinyl ether are mixed and the obtained composition is applied to the same surface of a support. CONSTITUTION:An electron donor type colorless or light colored color former [e.g., 3,3-bis(P-dimethylaminophenyl)-6-dimethylphthalide] and an electron acceptor type colorless color developer generating a color product through the reaction with said color former (e.g., substituted phenol) are pref. encapsulated to be mixed with waxes (e.g., beeswax) and polyvinyl ether (e.g., polyvinyl methyl ether) to obtain a coating liquid which is, in turn, applied to the surface of a support such as paper by an air knife coater to obtain an objective pressure sensitive copy paper. |
