PURPOSE:To increase the output of a flat motor without increasing its outer diameter by constructing to cover the radial linear part and the connecting cross part of an armature coil at least one of the outer or inner diameter side of a permanent magnet effective area which is arranged annularly. CONSTITUTION:An armature 16 is contained in an air gap between a case 12a and a permanent magnet 15. This permanent magnet 15 is secured through the attracting force of the magnet of the case 13 and an adhesive, thereby forming a magnetic circuit which passes through the effective air gap. A commutator 24 is fixed to the armature 16, and a brush 20 is slidably contacted with the commutator 24. One or both of the outer and inner diameter sides of the effective area of the magnet 15 cover the armature 16 over the radial linear part and the connecting crossing part of armature coils. |
