PURPOSE:To increase a reference range with high efficiency and without using any special instruction in a simple constitution, by selecting and designating an address conversion table by an address conversion table number and a signal discriminating whether the instruction reference or the data reference exists. CONSTITUTION:The logical address of a register 102 which stores logical addresses is converted into a physical address with reference to desired address conversion tables 1001, 1002.... Then an access is given to a main storage device via a register 104 which stores physical addresses. While an OR circuit 103 forms the number information CTS by adding the lowest bit of a conversion number fed from a register 101 which stores address conversion table number to a discriminating signal D/I showing whether the main storage access fed from an upper device is the instruction reference or the data reference. Then the tables 1001, 1002... are selected and designated in accordance with the information CTS corresponding to the signal D/I. Thus it is possible to increase double, etc. the reference range with high efficiency and without using any special instruction in a simple constitution. |
