<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the length of electrical connection and to obtain stable operation of a semiconductor element, by attaching a planar insulating material on which a planar conductor is arranged in accordance with locations of terminals of the semiconductor module element for connecting terminals of various elements with each other, and attaching protecting circuit components and control circuit components of each semiconductor module element on the opposite side of the insulator. CONSTITUTION:A planar insulator 5, on which a planar conductor 4 contacted with principal terminals 3 of a semiconductor module element 2 attached to the flat surface of a cooling fin 1 is arranged, is packaged. Protecting circuit components and control circuit components 6 are packaged on the opposite side of the planar insulator 5. Principal terminal screws of the semiconductor module element 2 thus arranged are tightened on principal terminals 3 of the semiconductor module 2 through the planar conductor 4 or through the planar conductor 4 and the planar insulator 5 so as to complete the connection of the principal circuit. According to this construction, it is possible to decrease the length of electrical connection between the semiconductor module element and the protecting circuit and control circuit components and thus to limit effects of harmonics or noise voltages, assuring stable operation of the semiconductor module element. Further, the number of assembling processes can be decreased.</p> |
