PURPOSE:To carry out highly accurate correction of a blade edge in a short time by providing a simple construction in an equipment in which the distance between the blade edge and the main spindle of a boring tool is automatically corrected according to the amount of abrasion of said boring tool in boring work. CONSTITUTION:The position of a tool holder 2, which is eccentrically fitted to a main spindle 1, can be changed centering around its eccentric center. The distance between the blade edge of a cutter 32 fixed on this holder and the axial center of the main spindle 1 can be freely changed within the range of the amount of eccentricity. Thereby the position of the blade edge can be corrected with high accuracy in a short time while providing a simple construction of a small, low cost device. |
