PURPOSE:To increase exfoliation strength of a thermally welded part, improve resisting strength against folding and increase the durable life of a separator stably strong further with toughness further without causing the increase of electric resistance, by constituting the paper separator of integral unit from work of paper making and heat binding between a micro-porous paper layer containing an inorganic material and a rough paper layer not containing the inorganic material further forming the separator to a sack shape through thermal welding by the overlapped opposite face with the rough paper layer as the inside. CONSTITUTION:A paper layer 1a is preferable to be compounded in 20-60wt% inorganic material, 10-30wt% synthetic fiber and 30-50wt% synthetic pulp proportion. While a rough paper layer 1b is preferable to be compounded in 20-60wt% synthetic fiber and 40-80wt% synthetic pulp proportion. The layer 1a produces good micro- porosity and oxidation resistance and thermo-welding quality by synthetic pulp between the fibers and the rough paper layer. Further the layer 1b produces an effect capable of maintaining a small value of electric resistance as a sack-shaped separator of comparatively large hole diameter with good liquid permeability. |
