PURPOSE:To prevent coloring occuring in the deviation of the circumference in a display part, a color deviation, the difference in depth, and retardation, by using an org. film provided with polarization characteristic for the central substrate of a GH cell having a double-layered construction. CONSTITUTION:An org. film is a polyester film, and In2O3 is formed as a transparent electrode by cold sputtering on the surface thereof. The film to be placed at the center and to be provided with polarization characteristic is the flim contg. a dichromatic dye and is stretched or the PVC film which is impregnated with iodine and is laminated thereon with a polyester film is used. Org. films are used for the three sheets of the substrates except the one sheet 11. Since two sheets of the polarization plates are provided at the intermediate of the liquid crystal layers, the retardation for diagonal incident light is averted and since a reflection film 9 is coated on the substrate 13', the reflective display free from parallax is realized. |
