摘要 PURPOSE:To guide emitted light of accelerated phosphorescence to a photodetector efficiently by using a photoelectron multiplier tube as the photodetector and a dichroic mirror as a wavelength-selective optical reflecting element. CONSTITUTION:A spherical lens 2 is arranged closely to an accumulative fluorescent material SP and incident excited light L is converged to near the surface of the fluorescent material SP. The photoelectron multiplier tube 3 receives the emitted light of accelerated phosphorescence from the fluorescent material SP through a lens 2, dichroic mirror 1, and filter 4. A main scan is made by the rotation of the SP and a subscan is made by moving the SP at right angles to the paper surface. Consequently, the entire surface of the SP is irradiated with the excited light L. The emitted light of accelerated phosphorescence at each scanning spot is separated by the excited light through the lens 2 and dichroic mirror 1 and made incident from the filter 4 to the photoelectron multiplier tube 3. Consequently, a radiation picture recorded on the fluorescent material SP is read.
