PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor having a substantially flat surface, by filling the fine recesses of the surface with a selected substance. CONSTITUTION:The fine recesses present on the surface of a photoconductor layer 1 are filled with a selected material to flatten said surface. After the filling and hardening, said material present except the recesses 2 is mechanically removed. As said material for filling, a compsn. of resin or plastics and conductive material, metal, nonmetal, fat, rubber, plastic coating material, solvent and photosemiconductor, or a composite material obtd. by combining some of them are usable, and it is necessary for the entire volume of the photoreceptor including the recesses filled with said materials only to have electric resistance substantially. |
