PURPOSE:To simply carry out continuous and automatic regeneration of catalyst during operation by exposing a catalyst chamber equally divided with a plurality of radiated partition walls to a fluidized bed of solid particles for every divided chamber in succession according to the progress of reaction. CONSTITUTION:Cylindrical catalyst chamber 5 is rotated by a division angle with driving unit 7 through shaft 6. With constituting a chamber with partition walls 2 and compartments 13, blower 20 is actuated at a low flow rate, valve 18 is opened to drop a fixed amt. of solid particles 17, and valve 18 is closed. By the operation moving bed 21 of the particles is formed in the chamber to throughly remove dust sticked to cylindrical catalyst elements 1 after a fixed time. Blower 20 is then actuated at a high flow rate to move 15 the particles to cyclone 16 and return them to bunker 17. By repeating the above operations dust sticked to elements 1 is simply removed for every divided chamber in succession during reaction, thus regenerating elements 1. |
