PURPOSE:To attain the printing of many characters by a conventional single power supply as compared to the whole driving, by using a solar battery as a power supply for displaying and driving calculation and using another battery for the driving of a printing device. CONSTITUTION:Both terminals of a switch 10 are connected to an input of an AND gate 11. When the switch 10 is off, the output of the AND gate 11 is turned to ''L''. When the switch 10 is on, the output of the AND gate 11 is turned to ''H'' and the ''H'' output is detected by the LSI side I to transmit a port output to the printing device 1. Since the switch 10 is usually off and the electronic apparatus is used as an electronic desk calculator provided with only a display function. The battery 7 is usually opened, so that the apparatus is driven by the capacity obtained from the solar battery 6 without reducing the capacity of the battery 7. |
