PURPOSE:To attain automatically the optimum restart of a computer system in accordance with a stop interval, by reading out stop time at the restart of the system, and applying a restart command corresponding to the time to restart the system. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply is stopped, a counting device 7 is actuated by a computer system operation stopping signal 6. When the power supply is restored normally, a processor 3 restarts and a counted value signal reader is actuated at first. After completing the operation of the device 20, a restart command retrieving device 10 is actuated to discriminate whether a condition is formed or not by using stop time lower and upper limit table on the basis of the stop time stored in the processor 3. When the condition is formed, a restart command is entered from a restart command information table to feed the restart command to a restart command information forming device 30. Thus, the optimum state can be formed at the restart of the system. |
