PURPOSE:To obtain a rotation preventing mechanism having small sliding resis tance while which is easy to machine by forming plural column-shaped projections on the bottom face of a revolving scroll and providing a circular groove which houses each of said projections which is always brought into contact with its inner peripheral surface when said revolving scroll is revolving, on a block. CONSTITUTION:A rotation preventing mechanism is formed in such a way that, plural column-shaped projecting parts 7 are formed on the bottom face of a revolving scroll 2, circular grooves 8 for housing the projecting parts 7 respectively are provided on the top face of a block 3, and the projecting part 7 is always brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the circular groove 8 when the revolving scroll 2 is revolving. Since a connecting passage 12 which is connected to the sliding surface 10 between the revolving scroll 2 and a fixed scroll 1, and a lubricating passage 9 are connected into the circu lar grooves 8, oil is always stored in the circular groove 8, remarkably reducing sliding resistance on that part. Also, the structure is simple making machining very easy. |
