PURPOSE:To improve the fabrication performance and the control performance by fastening a rod-weight onto a receiving seat arranged on the opposite side of a rod cap to the connecting-rod small edge part by means of a separate bolt, in the captioned apparatus which uses a rod-weight which is integrally formed with the connecting-rod. CONSTITUTION:A projection 11 having a thickness for preventing the operation of a bolt 2 from being obstructed is formed on the opposite side of a rod-cap 10, to the connecting-rod small edge part 1b, and a serration 13 is formed at the top edge. A rod-weight 12 having a serration 14 corresponding to the serration 13 is installed onto the projection 11 by means of a bolt 15. In fabrication of the rod- weight 12, the rod-cap 10 is installed beforehand, onto the connecting-rod larger edge part 1a by means of a bolt 2. With such a constitution, fastening of the bolt 2 is prevented from being obstructed by the rod-weight 12, so fabrication work is facilitated, and torque control for the bolt 2 is also facilitated. Further, correct positioning is permitted by the serrations 13 and 14. |
