PURPOSE:To dispense with a buffer spring and simplify a construction, by providing a pair of fulcrum rings which are interposed to pivotally couple a plate spring to a clutch cover and are springs which are wave-shaped so that flexural load is caused in the direction of the load upon the plate spring. CONSTITUTION:A plate spring 7 is pivotally connected to a clutch cover 6 through a pair of fulcrum rings 8 located on both the sides of the plate spring 7. The peripheral part of the plate spring 7 is anchored to a pressure plate 5 by a clip 10. One or both of the fulcrum rings 8 are made of wave-shaped springs so that flexural load is caused in the direction of the load upon the plate spring 7. A friction plate 2 is gradually pinched between a flywheel 4 and the pressure plate 5 by the spring forces of the fulcrum rings 8 caused at the stroke of the plate 5. According to this constitution, a conventional buffer spring is not needed. As a result, the friction plate 2 is directly secured on a drive plate 3a. |
