发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCTON OF PIG IRON
摘要 PURPOSE:To solve problems of insufficient thermal efficiency and damage in the refractory material of a furnace wall part in a melt reduction method for converting fuel consisting essentially of C and H2 to a high temp. gas consisting essentially of CO and H2 by specifying the position and direction for blowing of O2. CONSTITUTION:The tuyeres 23 in a melting and gasifying furnace are directed approximately perpendicularly toward the lower part of a coke packed layer (a) in the side wall of a furnace body located above a combustion chamber (c). Coke 19 and reduced iron 17 are charged through the charging port 19 at the furnace top into the furnace, and O2 21 and pulverized coal 22 are blown through the tuyeres 23 into the chamber (c), where combustion reaction is executed to form a high temp. combustion gas consisting essentially of CO and H2. The gas is flowed to a melting part (b) and iron 17 is melted and is then recovered through a removal port 20. Molten and reduced iron and the gangue minerals contained in the reduced iron are melted to slag together with a slag forming material such as quicklime, and the molten slag flows downward in the layer (a). The molten ash formed in the chamber (c) flows as the molten slag with the limestone similarly downward. The slag forms a molten slag layer (d) on the well (e) and is discharged through a tapping hole 26. The stable flow ascending after flowing out to the center of the furnace in the arrow direction of the above- described gas is obtd. according to the above-mentioned method.
