PURPOSE:To contrive reduction of the number of component parts, by leading discharge voltage generated on a piezoelectric element to the tip of a nozzle from a hammer through a button at the time of pushing of a piezoelectric element hammer operating button made of conductive resin having a resistance value. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric igniter 3 is made of conductive resin on a main body casing 1 of a lighter and an operating button 14 having surface resistance value of 10kOMEGA-40kOMEGA is provided. As a conductive lever 13 connected with the button 14 is operated in an interlocking state with each other, causing pulling up of a conductive nozzle 5 upward and hitting of a piezoelectric element 18 by a hammer 17, when the button 14 is pushed, an electric discharge circuit in order of a lead wire 20 the element 18 the hammer 17 a spring 15 the button 14 the lever 13 the nozzle 5 is formed, voltage is applied to a gap between the tip of the nozzle 5 and a discharge electrode 21 and spark discharge is generated. With this construction, it is made possible to ignite spouting gas reliably by stabilizing the spark discharge and elonging its continuation period of time. |
