PURPOSE:To form a recorder/reproducer compact, by feeding intermittently a recording medium at the rate of once per one revolution of a rotary drum, for eliminating the need for an analog control circuit and constituting most of electronic circuits with digital ICs. CONSTITUTION:A stepping motor 15 which is turned by a prescribed angle only with one pulse is used for a motor driving a capstan 14 for making run intermittently a magnetic tape 4, and a step difference W for almost one track's share is given to rotary heads 2a, 2b on the circumference of the rotary drum 1. A signal Sa recorded and reproduced with a magnetic head 2a and a signal Sb recorded and reproduced with a magnetic head 2b are inputted and outputted alternately at an interval of 90 deg. with each other. A pulse P driving the stepping motor 15 has only to be applied in synchronizing with a signal just after the signal Sb, and the magnetic tape 4 has only to be fed by one step while the rotary drum 1 is turned by one revolution, i.e., a length DELTAS for two-track's share. |
