PURPOSE:To shorten the period of construction as well as to reduce the construction cost of a basement by a method in which parts constituting the struts and walls of a basement are used in common as surrounding parts during the ground excavation period. CONSTITUTION:Struts 14 provided with plural parallel grooves 16 in the longitudinal direction of their round or angular outer faces, made of concrete or steel tube, are vertically erected at given intervals at the same depths in the ground. An adequate number of walling plates 15 are erected on a line connecting the grooves 16 facing each other of the struts 14 on the ground's surface. The walling plates 15 are vertically set in such a way as to enable the plates 15 to go down through the grooves 16 under their own weights while excavating and moving soil below and inside the walling plates 15 until finally the walling plates are fitted into the adjacent struts 14 in the same depths. Concrete for floor 22 is placed in the lower parts of each walling plate 15 and the joints between the struts 14 and the plates 15 are coated for fixation. The construction work for the basement can be attained without wasteful work of excessively excavating the outside of the surrounding area of the basement. |
