PURPOSE:To carry out exposure with the invariably specific quantity of light for new image formation and to prevent unnecessary copying resulting from that the quantity of light is not set, by resetting the quantity of light of a light source to a reference value on the completion of image formation. CONSTITUTION:When no copy is taken within a specific time after previous copying operation, a contact K3-1 for setting exposure to a standard state is closed a specific time after a key SW1 is turned on, performing resetting to standard exposure. Exactly the same operation is carried out even with keys SW2-SW5 pushed and the exposure is reset to the standard state the specific time later, so operations are facilitated and errors of copying are reduced. Variable resistances VR1, VR2, VR4, and VR5 are adjusted so that specific exposure is obtained by operating the respective key buttons selectively, but this adjustment is made independently without any mutual influence. Further, characteristic variation of a lamp L and characteristic variation among elements C, Q2, and Q1 are corrected by those variable resistances. |
