PURPOSE:To permit a vane to be controlled without increasing the total height of a compressor by installing a solenoid shaft in the perpendicular direction to a compressor chaft and moving a pin through a link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid 9 is installed onto the solenoid mounting seat 36 of a lower bearing 29 by means of a screw 32, so that the solenoid shaft may be installed in the perpendicular direction to the rotary shaft of a compressor. The movement of movable iron core of the solenoid which is perpendicular to the rotary shaft of the compressor is converted, by a lever 33, to the movement of a pin which is in the direction of the rotary shaft of the compressor. One edge of the lever 33 touches the shaft 35 of the movable iron-core of the solenoid 9, and the other edge touches the spring seat 31 of the pin. Thus, vane control is permitted without increasing the height of the compressor in comparison with that of a conventional compressor. |
