This method consists in arranging the mould 5a-5b so that the face 7 of its mould recess, forming the face for receiving the adhesively pre-coated supports 4 on the component, is in one of the assembly planes P of the portions of this mould, in depositing, before closing the mould and on the aforementioned face 7 of the mould recess, at least one adhesively pre-coated support 4 projecting, laterally and longitudinally, from the edges 6a of the cavity 6 of the mould recess, in closing the mould in order to inject the components of the polyurethane and to mould the component and, after demoulding, in cutting off, flush with the component, the projecting portions 4a of each adhesively pre-coated support 4. This method is used for fixing components made from polyurethane foam to a smooth surface, such as an overlay, spoilers, various ornamental and protective elements for a vehicle body. <IMAGE>
