PURPOSE:To make the performance at mass production uniform, by inserting a matching element incorporated with an impedance matching plate and a probe conductor rod to a waveguide short-circuited for one end in the direction of transmission via a probe insulator for connecting the element to a strip conductor. CONSTITUTION:The probe matching element 11 incorporated with the impedance matching plate and the probe conductor rod at a position having S=lambdag/4 of electric length from a short-circuit face of waveguide 1, and the probe insulator 12 are inserted into the direction of electric field of the propagated electromagnetic waves of the waveguide 1, and the element 11 and the microstrip conductor 6 are soldered at a conductor connecting section 9. The microwave strip line consists of the conductor 6, the dielectric board 7 and the ground conductor 8, and the conductor 8 is provided along with the waveguide side wall. The element 11 is formed with good dimensional accuracy as shown in figures (a), (b) by means of the punch or etching processing and the folding processing. The insulator 12 is formed with a hollow dielectric substance by fixing a waveguide inserting section 13 of the element 11. Thus, the size and the electric reproducibility are improved, allowing to make the performance at mass production uniform. |
