The invention relates to an operating device for wood-felling machines, comprising a multiplicity of operating members, which can be acted upon manually for activation, for controlling various functions at the machine as well as for setting a desired stem length when cutting across the grain of tree trunks. The purpose of the invention is to enable the operating members to be actuated more easily and more reliably. This object is achieved in that at least one operating member is arranged for setting a desired stem length, which operating member is intended to change the set stem length by a predetermined step upon every activation. |
