PURPOSE:To eliminate the laboriousness in operation and to enable full automation, by monitoring remotely and automatically the sepn. plane of ion exchange resins. CONSTITUTION:A transparent body 3a of glass or the like is fitted into a monitoring window 3, and a detection part 9 for luminance is disposed so as to face to said body apart at a spacing from the body 3a. The part 9 is driven by a vertical movable means and is moved vertically along the window 3. A detection part 10 for position is fixed to the part 9, and moves vertically and integrally with the part 9. A scale plate 11 for position extends vertically along the window 3 apart from the part 10 at a spacing in front thereof, and when the part 9 moves vertically, the part 10 moves vertically along the plate 11. A formation part 14 for luminance code is connected to the part 9, and a formation part 15 for position code is connected to the part 10. |
