<p>PURPOSE:To track the tail end of a high temperature material to be rolled highly reliably, by detecting the passing of the front-end position of a zone through the point just under a detector of the material, and outputting the detecting result of other tail-end tracking circuit corresponding to the presence or absence of the change of the detecting signal. CONSTITUTION:An existing zone of the tail end of a hot rolled steel sheet 6 is set by using a setter 100. When the rolling at a finishing mill 4 is finished, an output signal of a load cell 16 changes to off, and then the 1st tail-end tracking circuit 40 begins to track and, at the same time, a zone tracking circuit 60 begins to track the front end position of the zone. Even when an output signal of a hot-block detector 20 changes to off caused by the attachment of waterdrops onto the sheet 6, etc., the 1st discrimination circuit 70 discriminates whether the zone front-end reaches the position of a detector 20 or not, because the 2nd tail-end tracking circuit 50 tracks it. The output is inputted to the 2nd discrimination circuit 80 to output the tracked result of the circuit 50 by the circuit 80, and the tracked result of the circuit 40 is outputted when a signal change is not obtained from the detector 20. The output is inputted to a stopping circuit 90 of a coiler.</p> |
