PURPOSE:To improve resistance against unfavorable environment such as impact, vibration, whirl or the like while simplifying its manufacture by making a prime cell en bloc. CONSTITUTION:The negative pole collector 1 provided with a cylindrical salient part 16 acting as the negative pole lead consists of Ni and Fe or their plated and processed articles. The negative pole active material 2 such as Ca and Mg is in an electrically jointed condition with said negative pole collector 1 while a DEB layer 3 is a pressed and formed layer mainly composed of CaCrO4, which is the positive pole active material, LiCl-KCl which is an electrolyte, and SiO2, which is an inorganic binder. The positive pole collector 4 is composed of case- shaped Ni and Fe, and after the DEB layer is inserted thereinto, the negative pole collector 1 with the negative pole active material 2 mounted with an inside protection ring 5, an outside protection ring 6 and an insulating ring 7 made of a heat-proof insulating material from thereabove is put therein, followed by being caulked en bloc at the caulking part 20. The space for arranging a heating agent 15 to be formed inside of the inner cylindrical salient part 16 is denoted by 18, while a fire passage hole is denoted by 19. |
