The collector is an air vacuum type solar collector. It comprises one or a plurality of accumulator tanks (2) with inlet and outlet manifolds incorporated in a casing (3) which is vacuum closed by a glazing (1) and topped by an absorber (4). The absorber (4) is comprised of a coating on the accumulator tank (2) such as a selective coating, a selective sheet or a selective mass treatment throughout its surface or surface portion directed towards the glazing (1). The compressure strength of the assembly is provided by the shape of the casing (3) consisting of juxtaposed alveoli. |
