An apparatus for the production of solidified melts is described by the invention, with a delivery device, a cooling belt, and a device for removing the melts solidified after being loaded onto the cooling belt by the delivery device. In such an apparatus it is provided according to the invention to arrange several delivery devices, spaced apart one behind the other in the running direction of the belt, with a removal device associated with each delivery device. In this manner, particularly products with short cooling times can be fed simultaneously by a plurality of delivery devices to a single cooling belt, so that a considerable increase in output is obtained in comparison with the conventional apparatuses of this type which have only a single delivery device per cooling belt. However, melts which require a long cooling time can also be solidified with the new apparatus, since in this case the removal devices, which can be strippers, for example, are removed or pivoted upwards, so that the whole length of the belt can be further used as the cooling zone in this case.
