PURPOSE:To bend simultaneously plural reinforcing bars, etc. in a bender which bends reinforcing materials, etc. by manual labor on site by wrapping the work which is sandwiched between a stage and a roll body on the roll body. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing material 30 is placed in the prescribed position on a stage 1 which is held removed of a roll body 11. The body 11 is mounted to rail members 2 by means of mounting members 7, and turning plates 23 are engaged with pins 16. The material 30 here is sandwiched between the stage 1 and the body 11. When the operator holds the handle part 26A of an arm 26 with his hand and depresses the same toward him by a prescribed angle, the pawl members 27 meshed with gear parts 23A rotate the plates 23 counterclockwise. A pressing member 22 is then rotated counterclockwise by a prescribed angle along the circumferential direction of the body 11, and the material 30 is bent by a prescribed angle so as to be wrapped on the body 11. When the arm 26 is returned to the home position and is turned again, the material 30 is bent further deeper. |
