PURPOSE:To stabilize insulating quality and facilitate shield connecting operation by a construction wherein a tap connecting lead wire is wound round the charging section in a helical or ring form to provide an electrostatic shield, in a tap changer having the electrostatic shield arranged round the charging section thereof. CONSTITUTION:One lead wire 1a or 1d among tap connecting lead wires 1a- 1d led out from tap windings is arranged in a ring form round terminals 4a- 4d disposed on a support rod 3 of a no-voltage tap changer, thereby to provide an electrostatic shield 5A. Then, the shield 5A is connected to the terminals 4a, 4d, and other tap connecting lead wires 1b, 1c are directly connected to the terminals 4a, 4c, respectively. By so doing, since the end parts of the shield 5A are connected to the terminals 4a, 4d of the changer, the end parts will not be exposed to the exterior and hence a weakness in point of insulation will be eliminated. Further, the shield 5A serves as also a connecting lead wire, so that wiring is facilitated. |
