PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of the control capacity for the totalizer, by installing the memory for the state information to the totalizer which totals the data from plural numbers of terminal units plus the intermediate processor between the terminal and the totalizer. CONSTITUTION:Intermediate processor TCU collects the data from plural units of terminal TML having the ticket issuing function to memorize them in RAM, and then sends these data to totalizer TU with the serial number of TCU attached each. Nonvolatile memory NE-RAM is provided to TU to store the state information given from TCU. If the power service is interrupted in the course of the information process, the storage of RAM to TCU is erased. However, the contents of NE-RAM remains. And when the service interruption is recovered, this recovery is detected by recovery power detecting part RPD of TCU and then transmitted to CPU. Thus the CPU informs the power recovery to TU along with the recovery request. Then TU transmits the state information stored in NE-RAM to TCU, and the TCU stores this information in RAM and then informs the terminal that the process action is ready. Confirming this information, the terminal given a reply to complete the recovery action. |
