The invention relates to the design of a liquid-addition device for a ring mixer for mixing liquid with mixing material consisting of structured particles. To obtain division and distribution of the liquid to be admixed in a manner which, as far as possible, saves energy and preserves the structure of the mixing material particles, the liquid-addition device is designed in such a way that the mixing-material ring revolving in its region is not destroyed by the liquid-addition device protruding into the mixing drum. It is also designed in such a way that piling-up and squashing of the mixing material while passing along the mixing tools on the liquid-addition devices are avoided.
