PURPOSE:To shorten the time taken for driving work of sand pile as well as reduce the working cost by providing a means capable of continuously performing the removal of frozen soil and the driving of sand pile. CONSTITUTION:A cutter 6 having almost the same size as the outside diameter of a casing 2 and a slightly longer length (vertical size l) than the thickness of a frozen soil layer 5 is detachably provided to the lower end of the casing 2. A plate 9 to hold a butterfly valve 8 provided at the lower end of the casing 2 in closed state is attached to the top of the cutter body 6, and a recession 11 to encase the pointed projection 10 at the lower end of the casing is formed at the top of the cutter 6. When the casing 2 is slowly lowered while being vibrated and the cutter 6 is penetrated into the frozen soil layer 5, the casing 2 can be smoothly penetrated into the hole excavated by the cutter 6. |
