PURPOSE:To obtain the foamed film which has an excellent buffering effect and heat-shrinking in longitudinal direction, by molding the compound containing a straight-chain low density polyethylene and a foaming agent into a film and stretching it monoaxially in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:By extruding the compound composed of a straight-chain low density polyethylene and a foaming agent from a die, e.g. provided with that it does not foam in the die, foaming it at the same time as leaving the die, film is molded. When stretching it, it is done by a roll stretching, etc. The heat-shrinkable foamed film exerts a particularly excellent effect to prevent the break of a bottle or buffer a shock e.g. in the use as the cover of the bottle, etc. |
