PURPOSE:To prevent the scouring of soil and sand below the free end of the peripheral part of the basal bottom of a structure under water by a method in which a steel tube into which wire rope is pierced is attached to the free end of a flexible sheet to be laid on the basal bottom of the structure under water and a concrete pile is connected to the wire rope. CONSTITUTION:In order to stabilize the basal bottom part of a structure A under water, a steel tube 2 is provided in a wound manner at the end part of a sheet 1 projected from the peripheral edge. The bent end 1a is bonded with the sheet 1 and with the steel tube 2. A concrete pile 3 is connected through a wire rope 4 pierced through the steel tube 2, and thereby the concrete pile 3 in the free end part of the sheet 1 is buried and anchored in the soil and sand of the ground B under water under gravity and by rocking movement caused by tidal wave. Since the free end part of the sheet 1 is stably held on the ground B under water and its rocking movement is suppressed, the inclination and settlement of the structure A under water can be prevented. |
