PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency and safety of a caisson work by a method in which a custom-made steel plate cell is delivered, positioned, and driven quickly into the ground under water by a vibration driving method, soil and sand are filled into the cell to construct a continuous wall, and the caisson foundation is constructed. CONSTITUTION:A custom-made steel plate cell 1 is delivered, positioned at a driving place, and quickly driven into the ground (a) of the seabed by a vibration driving method using a given number of vibro-drivers which are operated in a synchronously interlocking manner. Soon thereafter, sea water inside is removed ans soil and sand are filled into the cell 1 for reinforcement to correct its attitude to proper one. As needed, a water-solidifying chemical liquid 2 is injected to the surrounding of the footing part of the cell 1 to seal up it completely, and an underground continuous wall 3 is constructed along the inner surface of the cell 1. A cross form of underground continuous wall 4 is constructed connectedly with the wall 3, the caisson foundation 5 is constructed, and a body concrete 6 is further constructed on the foundation 5. |
